Her heart, always open and ready to offer help, was one of the most remarkable aspects of her personality.
Megan’s professional accomplishments were not the only thing that defined her life. She was also a deeply devoted daughter, sister, and friend. She had an infectious smile and a laugh that could light up even the darkest rooms. She had an unparalleled capacity for love and kindness, which extended to everyone she encountered. Her family was her anchor, and she cherished them with every fiber of her being. Megan was especially close to her parents, Susan and John Kett, who supported and encouraged her through every stage of her life. She had a special ability to make people feel comfortable, and those who were fortunate enough to call her a friend felt truly seen. She was a constant presence in their lives, attending birthdays, weddings, and other important milestones with a warmth and generosity that was second to none.
Beyond her career and family, Megan had a variety of interests that kept her life vibrant and full. She was an avid reader, always eager to dive into a good book, whether it was fiction, self-help, or literature about social justice. Megan was also an animal lover, and she found immense joy in caring for her two dogs, Bailey and Daisy, who brought her comfort and companionship in her free time. Megan had a love for nature and could often be found on hiking trails, in the park, or simply sitting in her garden, soaking in the beauty of the world around her. Her appreciation for the natural world was infectious, and she encouraged others to experience the same peace and serenity that nature gave her.
Megan’s sense of humor was another defining trait. She had an uncanny ability to make people laugh, often using her wit and quick comebacks to lighten the mood in even the most stressful situations. Her jokes, often self-deprecating but always endearing, were a testament to her humility and her understanding that life was too short to take too seriously. Her laughter was a signature part of her presence, and anyone who was around her was likely to be caught up in her infectious joy.
In addition to her many personal qualities, Megan was a dedicated volunteer and community leader. She spent countless hours working with local organizations to support causes close to her heart.
